Keto Bacon and Cheese Frittata Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 10 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz bacon diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
  • In a 10-inch oven-safe skillet, cook diced bacon over medium heat until crispy.
  • Remove bacon with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving the grease in the pan.
  • Add butter to the bacon grease and melt over medium heat.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the skillet.
  • Sprinkle the cooked bacon, cheddar cheese, and chives evenly over the eggs.
  • Cook on the stovetop for 5 minutes until the edges start to set.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the frittata is set and golden on top.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
